The Chief Strategy and Growth Officer (CSGO) serves as ACC’s senior integrator—translating strategy into execution across revenue growth, operations, programs, and member value. The CSGO develops and implements strategies and programs that increase value and revenue for the organization.
The CSGO serves as a strategic partner to the President to ensure alignment across teams, systems, and initiatives while strengthening ACC’s operational backbone and external partnerships. This role provides strong leadership capacity by bringing strategy, growth, and operations under one accountable leader. The CSGO also helps position ACC for its next phase of growth, resilience, and influence—particularly as the organization prepares for its 50th Annual Meeting and beyond.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Growth / Executive Partnership
Partners closely with the President to lead execution of ACC’s strategic plan. Drives enterprise-level strategic growth with a strong sales orientation, serving as a primary strategic advisor and co-architect of ACC’s long-range vision during periods of change, growth, and industry complexity.
Leads the development and application of strategic growth metrics, dashboards, ensuring accountability and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Designs and implements revenue growth strategies across sponsorships, partnerships, membership, and program offerings with goal of doubling revenue in 5 years.
Partners with the President on leveraging ACC’s strong industry positioning, expanding relationships through FAA engagement, and high-level stakeholder partnerships to deepen engagement and drive strategic revenue opportunities.
Programs, Events & Member Value
Elevates ACC’s portfolio of training, education, conferences, symposia, and signature events (e.g., Symposium, Annual Meeting) to expand impact, strengthen market positioning, and drive deeper member and stakeholder engagement.
Leads sponsorship strategy and execution tied to programs and events.
Enhances member value through segmentation, engagement strategies, and community-driven services.
Ensures alignment and collaboration across departments, committees, and Communities of Practice.
Oversees communications quality and brand consistency, supported by staff and outsourced vendors.
Internal Systems
Strengthens ACC’s enterprise systems organizational infrastructure (workflows, technology platforms, and vendor relationships) to support scalability, alignment, and sustained strategic growth.
Provides executive oversight of financial planning and performance insights to ensure strong alignment between strategic priorities, resource allocation, and growth outcomes.
Supervision
Supervises directors, managers, and key staff, ensuring alignment, accountability, and high-impact performance across growth initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of senior leadership experience in associations, aviation, AEC, transportation, infrastructure, or related sectors.
Demonstrated success in strategy execution, operations leadership, and revenue development.
Proven experience managing teams, leading organizational change, and improving systems.
Exceptional executive communication, relational intelligence, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Preferred
Located in DMV area
Hybrid/Remote
Expertise in project management platforms (ex. Asana or similar platforms)
Experience in crisis management and situational analysis.
Strong understanding of airport consulting, FAA engagement, or capital development environments.
CAE, MBA, or comparable executive credentials.
Travel required.
