Description of Work:
The College of Engineering plans to develop, hone and maintain a robust and strategic digital marketing and media presence to enhance its reputation. The digital marketing specialist within Engineering Communications Team will encompass high proficiency in social media, video production and editing, content creation for the web, digital content and strategies for external marketing/advertising, and managing the digital and brand presence in the college's soon-to-be signature facility – Kiewit Hall – both during its development and after it's open.
This position will focus specifically on developing and maintaining an effective digital presence within the college's overall communications and marketing strategies. This individual will also work closely with the college's departments/programs and staff on their digital footprints, as prospective students, peers, industry, alumni and other key audiences are seeking information and engagement from varying areas within the college and university.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism or related field and (2) Two years of experience working with creative media execution across digital and social platforms . Proficiency in graphics, web advertising, social media and web content and design. Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, and the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data. Experience developing and coordinating multimedia packages. Experience delivering a variety of digital assets, including online media ads, micro sites, and social media applications. Experience managing successful social media campaigns, and a solid understanding of social marketing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Audio and video production experience. High-end project management experience.
Posted Salary: Negotiable based on qualifications and experience
