The Customer Marketing Manager leads the development of sales strategies and is responsible for translating the business unit strategies into, impactful and insightful external narratives, optimal executional plans, and effective sales tactics for assigned categories, brands, key selling events and new items. The Marketing Commercialization Customer Marketing Manager serves as the key business partner for field sales and internal cross-functional departments, leading plan optimization from "media to shelf". Recommendations and directions are provided to the following functional groups: sales management, marketing, shopper marketing, market research, promotions, product supply, customer service and forecasting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your success will be measured based on:
- Interact and work with senior/brand managers/directors and cross-functional teams to deliver divisional business objectives
- Act as key business partner between Sales and Marketing. Ensure the right connection between Marketing Strategies and Sales strategies to ensure flawless execution and delivery of business objectives.
- Support key field business teams with business planning, brand interaction, and top to top meetings, includes leading the customer adapt process for selected retailers through working with our shopper agency of record
- Develop and communicate sales strategies, selling material and point of sale materials (includes special packs) that are consistent with Sales and Marketing objectives and gain the desired results from the business
- Lead the "media to cart" planning process for key FOCO (Few, Organized, Clear, Objectives) events for the category
- Participate in sales account business planning process to develop optimized plan which will drive key objectives and maximize trade participation, acceptance and performance
- Participate in customer calls to provide support to the field, provide national perspective and gain insights to use in strategic and tactical planning. Be the external face of the brand
- Participate in the new product development meetings and serve as the lead to input direction (ideation to commercialization) of executional considerations and media to cart execution elements to ensure strong product launches
- Support Director of Customer Marketing in strategic planning for business unit
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant business experience
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES:
- Major Account Business Manager, National Account Business Manager, Category Manager or
- Brand Management experience required Exceptional computer skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- SCJ Data Tools experience (PlanIt TCM, Nielsen)
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Experience with Target, Walmart or Kroger highly preferred
- Prior experience developing sales kits/tools (including POS materials) for both base business, promotional and account-specific products
- Prior experience in an analytical role
- Point of Sale marketing experience
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-15% travel to present at key customer meetings
- Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees.
