The Department of Marketing in the Norm Brodsky College of Business at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor of introductory business course for the Fall 2022 beginning September 1, 2022. This position is to teach one class section of CBA 110: Business in Action.
CBA 110: Business in Action is a first year course where students get a foundational understanding of the business environment and of business functions. An important component of the course is the Business in Action project, where students will work in groups to create a small business. They receive $500 start-up funds, and must design, market, and sell a product before the end of the semester; groups compete based on sales as well as the effectiveness of their business presentation to judges.
The successful candidate will demonstrate teaching and/or practical experience in the business field.
Possess a minimum of a Masters Degree (e.g., MBA).
Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum 2 years higher education teaching experience.
