About the Opportunity: Founded in 1922, the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University offers a unique model of business education that purposely blends innovative classroom learning with real-world business application. At the undergraduate level, both the BS in Business Administration and the BS in International Business programs offer students the opportunity to develop into highly motivated business leaders. Graduate students and corporate learners can choose from several different certificate and full-time and part-time MBA and MS programs designed to enable motivated professionals to accelerate their success in business. The school is committed to embedding a global mindset into all of these programs, as well as in its research and outreach activities.
Responsibilities: The Digital Marketing and Automation Manager is responsible for the development, deployment, and management of marketing campaigns and web pages for the Northeastern University D'Amore-McKim School of Business graduate programs. The Manager will work with many different units and must be excellent at cross-functional collaboration, project management, and verbal and written communication. They must be able to translate marketing requirements into measurable, scalable experiences for prospective students. Marketing automation responsibilities using the marketing automation system (Marketo) will include deployment and oversight of email campaigns, marketing campaigns, campaign performance reporting, campaign process documentation, email and landing page templates, and A/B testing. The person in this role will be responsible for creating engaging and effective interactive experiences on the D'Amore-McKim graduate program web pages. Website responsibilities will include oversite of graduate program web pages, optimizing web pages for conversion, data analysis through Google Analytics, A/B testing for continual improvement, and liaising with the D'Amore-McKim Web Manager and an external agency for template design, brand alignment, and functionality build-out.
Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a digital marketing role is required. Fluency in strategy-based marketing and communications and marketing automation software is essential. A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field with superior written and oral communication skills is required. A master's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field is preferred. A successful candidate will have demonstrated success in the marketing automation tool Marketo, or a similar system, managing marketing email and event campaigns. Flexible, creative thinker open to new ideas and changing priorities within a fast-paced organization. Willingness to continually enhance communication and drive innovation. Outstanding interpersonal and professional communication skills, including writing and editorial. Able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, colleagues, and peers. Curious, self-motivated, and collaborative. Fluency with a marketing automation tool (Marketo), a visual analytics platform (Tableau), and a customer relationship management system (Salesforce) preferred.
