VHCC awards credentials and continuing education courses as well as Associate of Applied Science degrees, Associate of Arts and Sciences degrees, certificates, and career studies certificates.Wage Position - Marketing Specialist, VHCC Institutional Advancement Division: Hourly Marketing Specialist position scheduled to work flexible schedule Monday through Friday approximately 29 hours per week with no fringe benefits. Position 296W0823. Minimum hourly rate is $15.00, depending upon qualifications.
Responsibilities: Responsible for implementing a range of creative and technical marketing/communications activities that support the VHCC brand and engage constituents of the College, including:Assists with all public relations & marketing efforts as needed, maintaining the brand and image of VHCC.Designs marketing collateral (flyers, signage, etc.)Provides expert photography and videography support and campus event coverage.Sharpens the focus of social media campaigns through the use of video engagement.Assists with web content edits and social media posts as needed.Manages the VHCC digital screen system and monument marquee.Assists the Institutional Advancement Division with production/event deadlines and other areas and duties as assigned.Assists in the management of the marketing segment of the Customer Relationship Management platform.Establishes and maintains effective relationships with students, faculty & staff and other stakeholders important to the college.Conducts other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing & Communications.Requirements:Minimum of associateâ™s degree in graphic design, fine arts, marketing, or related field.Successful history of professional achievement related to the duties and responsibilities specified. A portfolio of relevant work will be required of all finalists.
