The Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning is looking for a Marketing Cloud specialist to manage all digital communications to prospective and admitted undergraduate and graduate students. Reporting to the executive director of enrollment management and student affairs, you will be part of the admissions team (our organizational chart). You will ensure the continued implementation and management of our communication journeys and will manage a recruitment and admissions communication plan to exceed annual enrollment goals for our 11 degrees and certificates. You will use best practices in digital communications to create clear, accurate, and accessible content.
While this job is situated in Ann Arbor and some on-campus work is expected, Taubman College offers flexible work arrangements for staff.
Build and analyze journeys for inquiries, applicants, admits and matriculated students for all undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificates
Manage admissions communication plans for all audiences
Develop data extensions using audience segmentation
Troubleshoot technical issues and complete quality assurance checks related to Marketing Cloud
Perform regular maintenance and create reports on journeys
Write and send all outgoing email messages for admissions events
Test communications before send to ensure correct data is being used and negate deliverability and rendering issues and identify areas for optimization
Write documentation for Marketing Cloud processes and conduct trainings for other users
Work with admissions Salesforce specialist on technical issues related to Salesforce
Partner with marketing and communication team members on messaging, graphics and email formatting
Implement and analyze SMS text messaging campaigns
Consult on summer melt communication plans and strategies
Be a member of the Marketing Cloud community of practice at U-M
Bachelor's degree in digital media, marketing, communications, business, computer science, technology or related field
1+ year of relevant experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000. Factors used to determine salary include experience, knowledge, and skills for the position. Candidates are encouraged to discuss salary questions to honor alignment and transparency throughout the recruiting process.
