Bard College's Graduate Programs in Sustainability (GPS) has an opening for an Assistant Director, Enrollment and Marketing. The position helps lead recruitment, enrollment, management, and marketing efforts for three graduate programs: MBA in Sustainability (ranked the #1 Green MBA by the Princeton Review); MS degrees in Environmental Policy and Climate Science and Policy; and an M.Ed. in Environmental Education.

The Assistant Director is expected to be on the Bard main campus in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY (easily accessible by train from NYC), five days each month, and as needed for student campus visits. In addition, the role requires occasional attendance at the New York City weekend residencies and evening events. Otherwise, the position can be remote.
The Assistant Director for Enrollment and Marketing for Bard GPS will be involved in all aspects of the graduate recruiting and admissions process. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to relate to a broad range of constituents (students, faculty, external career offices, industry partners, etc.), an aptitude for project management, and the ability to work well both independently and collaboratively.
Requirements for this position include 5 years of relevant experience in admissions/enrollment management; experience using Slate; excellent verbal and written communication; strong organizational and time management skills. A Bachelors degree is required, with a Master's degree in a related field preferred (education, communications, marketing, sustainability). Prior work in admissions centered around Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot, social media management, and/or Canva is also preferred.
