As an Equity Derivatives Sales Support Associate/Analyst, you'll be performing BAU functions and controls of any post trade activities relating to our Sales activities across corporate clients, institutional investors, hedge funds, asset managers and wealth management offices

The role encompasses the following:

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure client queries are addressed timely and appropriately
• Work closely with other Operations functions and infrastructure groups to support a 'one team approach'
• Ensure all controls are diligently performed, completed, and signed-off on a timely basis
• Ensure regulatory obligations are fulfilled and participate to changes with regulation
• Collaborate with Sales, trading and business management to any new business opportunities and help designing controls and process
• Participate and contribute to the various strategic initiatives; keep improving and evolving processes and business architecture
• Build an in-depth understanding of all trading structures from both a financial and operational perspective

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• You should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant role relating to Equity Derivatives and/or have strong product knowledge, in particular on retail structured products
• Understand all relevant derivatives product offering for clients in order to ensure appropriate management of client and business demands
• Knowledge of the front to back Operations process (including the key elements such as confirmations, settlements, regulatory reporting) and facilitate issue resolution across teams
• Understand the key elements of other infrastructure groups (i.e. Finance, Market risk, Credit risk, Operational risk, Legal, Collateral etc.) and recognize the impact of the actions of the Trade support team on these areas
• Effective communication skills and an ability to use these to work collaboratively, explain, and challenge, as appropriate
• Great team player able to work in a pressurized and evolving environment
• Strong technical skills, especially in Excel (VBA is a plus)
