Position Summary: The Sports Marketing Specialist is responsible for promoting Snohomish County as a sports destination by developing, planning, organizing, and overseeing sports tourism marketing and promotion programs. The position is primarily for social media. content, creation, and media relations. The Sports Marketing Specialist reports to the Executive Director. The Snohomish County Sports Commission, a 501(c)3 organization, is the sports destination management organization for Snohomish County, Washington. The organization consists of 3 total staff members and 11 board members. Our mission is to enhance Snohomish County’s economy, image as a premier sports destination, and way of life for its residents by attracting diverse regional, national, and international athletic event
