Colorado State University Pueblo is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and student development-centered individual for the position of Graduate Assistant of Marketing-Campus Recreation.
The successful candidate will provide shared leadership for a comprehensive university-wide recreational program designed for more than 4,500 students, faculty, and staff, and will assist with cultivating and delivering the departmental brand to the entire community. They will also cultivate an environment that values inclusiveness and diversity, engage in evidence-based decision-making, foster a sense of belonging and inclusion, and promote student development and learning.

Job Summary
The Graduate Assistant for Marketing works directly with the Assistant Director of Marketing and Sports for Campus Recreation. This position is responsible for developing, designing and implementing marketing campaigns for Campus Recreation program areas. Campaigns will span digital, social, and print media and will be targeted at various audiences. This position requires strong organization and interpersonal skills.
This position will work with and direct undergraduate students on the marketing team. Work is performed under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage production and promotion of marketing campaigns and materials for program areas and facilities including print and digital content
Assist with coordination and implementation of marketing campaigns and strategies
Assist program areas with special event planning and execution
Contribute to website updates and content creation
Assist with development and production of photo and video
Oversee departmental digital signage
Qualifications
Strong professionalism, written, and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate simultaneous projects
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite
Creative thinker with a collaborative spirit and a drive to learn
Graduate level student scheduled to be enrolled in CSUP’s graduate school full-time
A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required for admission to the Graduate School
