The Dallas Symphony Association has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Manager. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager is a critical member of the Marketing and Guest Services team and works closely with all departments, as well as our media partners, to market and promote the Dallas Symphony Association, our concerts, and special events. The day-to-day responsibilities for this role include designing, executing, and analyzing email marketing campaigns; website maintenance, webpage creation, and managing web developers; email and website Tessitura integrations; writing website and email copy, creating targeted email content, and managing email lists; and tracking campaign performance and completing campaign wrap-up reports. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Email Marketing
Create compelling email content to drive ticket sales and donations, working in collaboration with Creative Services and with Communications & Media
Build and manage targeted lists and automations including marketing messaging and pre/post-concert communications
Create and design email templates
Website Maintenance
Create, revise, and update pages and forms within the DSO website on behalf of all DSO departments
Work with Guest Services to ensure Tessitura integrations are optimized, creating an easy and secure purchase path for our patrons
Manage website functionality and spearhead ongoing navigation and overall site updates
Optimize webpage layout and design and ensure the website reflects the DSO’s brand standards
Reporting, Recapping and Developing Insights
Work with the Director of Marketing to develop strategic email campaigns to increase engagement and repeat attendance within appropriate deadlines and design parameters that include compelling content for each product line
Prepare monthly and campaign specific post-concert reports
Evaluate tactics, assess impact, and adjust strategies to improve the effectiveness of our email marketing and website
In-Venue Marketing Material Maintenance
Develop a plan for in-venue signage and collateral, and work with the Creative Services team on design and timelines to make sure marketing collateral is always up-to-date
Create and schedule in-venue videos that are shown on the television monitors at each concert
Oversee production, content and calendar for promotional signs, posters and banners

Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Communications preferred, and a minimum of 1-3 years related experience in the arts and entertainment industry
Superb writing and storytelling skills, with strong copywriting experience
A relentless data-driven approach to everything marketing; familiarity with Google Analytics, Tessitura, and other tracking tools preferred
Familiarity with email platforms and HTML required
Demonstrated ability to simultaneously think strategically and creatively
Outstanding prioritization and communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects at once, interact with a broad variety of internal departments and external entities, manage and traffic multiple priorities
Results-oriented team player with the ability to initiate and independently drive programs
Successful record of accomplishment in marketing for an arts audience preferred
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required
The ability to work occasional concert duty as assigned on nights and weekends is required
