UAB Spain Rehabilitation Center is opening an 11-story, state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation hospital in spring 2025. The new hospital will include 78 rehabilitation beds and the latest technology - all designed to promote functional activity at every turn. Job Description:
To develop relationships with the healthcare community and educate them on the services offered by Spain Rehabilitation Center. To respond to referrals made to the Spain Rehabilitation Center (SRC) promoting patient and referral source satisfaction. To educate patients and their families regarding admission criteria, their diagnosis, and responsibilities to participate in family education and training. Plays a crucial role in helping growth through patient referrals. Primary focus will be on cultivating strong referral relationships within a geographic territory. To complete the Pre-Admission Screen (PAS), collaborate with Pre-Admission Case Managers and Rehab Admissions team and assist with final decision to admit based on CMS regulations.
