POSITION OVERVIEW
The Working Student Marketing & Communications, Germany, will support the Business Development Services team with their marketing and communication activities across multi channels. This includes media relations, internal communications, website, social media and events.
A strong focus will be on media relations and internal communications working closely with senior PR managers and communications managers. The role will generate and distribute press releases to bring our strong thought leadership and insights to the media and further drive market perception.
Localising pan-European content that has been crafted by the EMEA Research team, and seeking to align other content from Global is part of the daily activities as well as creating and distributing internal communications locally.
To distribute corporate news across channels online and through events, this role is responsible for building landing pages on the corporate website and posting on social media as well as organising press events at the German branches.
The individual will collaborate closely not only with the German marketing, research and digital colleagues but also with the EMEA BDS team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
⢠Communications ⓠDevelop media collaterals to drive a high level of press engagement for key deliverables and leadership profiling, while also cascading information internally.
⢠Digital ⓠSupport the digital marketing team by creating of landing pages on the corporate website and preparing posts published through Hootsuite.
⢠Global & In-Country Engagement ⓠFor global and EMEA content, localize and ensure the campaign is well represented and received locally. For in-country content, create with a storytelling approach / PR approach.
⢠Graphic Design Elements ⓠLiaison between the research leads and design team to give clear briefings on desired imaging, and graphical representation. Follow the companies VI and brand guidelines on all external outputs.
⢠Events ⓠSupport the German Events Program including industry events, partnerships, hosted client events and fairs. Work with the EMEA events team on international fairs in Germany.
KEY SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES:
⢠Student in Marketing, Communications or related fields
⢠Excellent communications skills both written and oral
⢠First experience in copywriting
⢠Fluent in German and English
⢠Strong and reliable team player with first experience in project management
⢠First digital marketing knowledge using platforms like Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Hootsuite, and LinkedIn is preferred
