Experience developing and presenting curriculum. 3+ years of industry experience. Experience leading, influencing, and collaborating with various stakeholders (especially third-party providers) to meet objectives. Experience working within an advertising budget.
Job Description:
Summary Develop content, project manager, and serve as primary lead for digital and print marketing publications that serve ISU Dining. Coordinate communication with students, staff, customers, and university staff individually or to the broader audience in response to questions, concerns, or to promote new programs and services.
Connect the Dining mission, vision, and pertinent information to multiple audiences and customers using social media and other forms of communication to help support and improve the customer experience. Develop plans and materials to enhance the recruitment and retention process for Dining employees. Support Dinings promotional efforts by creating materials and attending prospective and new student events.
Support and contribute to Campus Life Communications and Marketing team, specifically helping with items pertaining to Department of Residence, though the primary focus will be on ISU Dining. This role is a member of the Campus Life Communications and Marketing Team that serves ISU Dining, Department of Residence, and the Memorial Union and reports to the Director of Communication and Marketing for Campus Life.
Determine market research needs and request the gathering of data from focus groups, surveys, and secondary sources regarding student target groups for all service areas. Identify marketing strategies for various services.Develop and manage the marketing and advertising budget with the Director of Communications and Marketing for Campus Life.
Example of Duties Designs, develops, and implements marketing activities and materials such as brochures, audio/visual materials. Designs, develops, and implements marketing programs and/or pricing strategies to support the organization. Reviews results and ensures the adherence of the marketing activities and plans. Coordinates involvement in conferences, exhibitions and marketing seminars. Uses specific marketing strategies and media (e.g., print, broadcast, digital) to launch and position products and services. Identifies and implements marketing strategies and programs in collaboration with stakeholders.
