JHU Carey Business School's Executive Education Program is seeking a seasoned marketing professional for the role of Product Marketing Associate. Reporting to the Senior Director of Johns Hopkins Carey Business School Executive Education (Executive Education), the Product Marketing Associate implements Business-to-Consumer (B2C) marketing strategy for a portfolio of open non-degree programs and Business-to-Business (B2B) strategies for Executive Education. This individual will also oversee relationships with various partners to execute marketing collateral, manage a library of digital assets and collateral, and collaborate with Carey's Global Marketing and Communications team (Carey MarComm), who are the final approvers of the brand and its usage.
The Product Marketing Associate is responsible for driving enrollment and sales for a portfolio of products that produces $5 million in revenue annually and is expected to grow by 40% in three years.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Lead the creation of all marketing collateral assets, brochures, and emails for our range of products for the Office of Executive Education.
Oversee the review and approval process of copy and marketing assets through Carey MarComm.
Drive content production through interviews, articles, videos, photos, and SEO/SEM, working closely with Carey MarComm.
Develop and implement strategic campaigns that meet pipeline goals, grow engagement, and establish relationships with senior business decision-makers (HR, Learning & Development, and senior executives) aligned with sales priorities. Work closely with the Learning Solution teams to build strong marketing campaigns.
Develop and maintain all marketing assets, lead generation, and lead nurturing campaigns to support a portfolio of open enrollment and custom programs.
Launch new initiatives and channels to identify new growth for the business. Regularly measure channel performance and report on how marketing drives key metrics.
Manage internal and external contractors (e.g., agencies, photographers, videographers, copywriters, etc.) to develop and deliver content.
Develop, update, and manage the prospective participant database through Salesforce and Pardot to ensure its integrity, and coordinate with Program Managers to streamline communications.
Serve as the key point of contact for the data functions, marketing options, queries, and more in Pardot.
Manage the work of one part-time Pardot technical expert.
Special Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Excellent ability to develop strategic integrated multichannel marketing plans and outstanding ability to execute against those plans.
Ability to clearly articulate (written and verbal) strategies and plans to achieve goals.
Experience in optimizing marketing funnel from brand/program awareness to conversion to retention.
Excellent understanding of lead generation conversion funnels.
Superb understanding of how all digital marketing channel's function, including hands-on experience with SEO/SEM and emails.
Experience in working with automated customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Experience with automated marketing platforms (e.g., Pardot, Marketo, HubSpot).
Demonstrated capacity for leadership, with strong management skills and the ability to supervise staff effectively.
Self-starter and can lead independently and proactively.
Results-oriented with high standards for self.
Ability to identify research needs and work with resources to gain the knowledge needed.
Proven track record of success with paid digital marketing tools and strong consumer instincts.
Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and high attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal, collaborative skills to build and influence strong working relationships across all Carey departments, Johns Hopkins University schools, and with all stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related field.
Four years related experience.
Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Salesforce and Pardot (or similar marketing CRM/automation tools).
Two plus years of direct management experience.
Higher education experience is a plus.
Five plus years of digital marketing experience (e.g., SEM/SEO/Email/Social/SMS/web) preferred.

Must have demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be used to establish professional working relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, clients, delegates, and vendors.

Must have the ability to project manage multiple competing priorities at once.
Fluency in MS Office suite is a must, as well as the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies (i.e., CRM/ databases and internet publishing tools).
Must be skilled in copywriting and copyediting.
