Job Summary: Our Athletic Department is accepting applications for the position of Asistant Athletic Director for Marketing, Outreach, & Operations. This full-time, 12-month role is responsible for planning, implmenting, and managing all aspects of the Athletic Department's annual giving initiatives.
This is an in-person position based in Rindge, NH.
Duties specific to the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing/Outreach/Operations include:
Responsible for the planning and execution of all donor events, (i.e., Hall of Fame, alumni weekends, away game tailgates, and the Rocky Classic Golf Tournament). Plans, coordinates, and executes all donor hospitality, including but not limited to football gameday {Raven Row). Coordinates all aspects of donor relationships (i.e., invoicing, renewals, ticketing questions, catering, and special requests). Coordinates assigned special Raven Fund initiatives {Giving Day, etc.). Manages the annual calendar of Raven Fund events. Maintains financial and budget data including records of expenditures for all The Ravens Fund and other related expenditures. Responsible for the creation and distribution of all communications for The Ravens Fund, {i.e., acknowledgement letters, newsletters, new member packets, postcards, and brochures). Solicits gifts and cultivates relationships with donors. Manages the sales and marketing campaign of athletic events. Works closely with the athletic administrative team and support staff to enhance the fan experience and represent the Athletic Department at University and community events. Oversees and coordinates assigned student staff, interns, and/or volunteers. Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in post-secondary education, business or related field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Other Required Qualifications Current, valid and unrestricted driver's license Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship Preferred Experience Two (2) years of experience in a development office, donor relations, fundraising, or related field. Demonstrates ability to lead and motivate staff. Provides innovative ideas for marketing, sales, and fan experience. Employs marketing strategies (radio, television, social media, digital, etc.) that grow inbound, outbound, group and premium sales efforts.
