The AACSB-accredited Marketing Department in the Leo J. Meehan School of Business at Stonehill College invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Marketing beginning in Fall 2025. In addition to joining the Marketing Department, the incoming faculty would join a diverse and inclusive faculty with a wide range of disciplinary expertise. This is an on-campus position and a qualified candidate must teach on the physical Stonehill College campus.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
We seek applicants with a strong interest in teaching and scholarship in the field of Marketing. Candidates with research and teaching interests in Consumer Behavior, Digital Marketing, or Marketing Analytics are preferred. Candidates should have the ability and desire to teach a variety of undergraduate marketing courses. Professional work experience in Marketing, with progressively increasing responsibility, is desirable.

The typical teaching load is 2 sections of a course and 1 section of a course per semester (fall/spring) with the option to teach courses during summer and winter sessions
Education and Experience
Applicants must have earned a terminal degree in Marketing or a related field. Doctoral candidates who will have finished their degree by September 1, 2025, will be considered. A strong preference will be given to applicants who possess at least five years of both professional and academic experience in marketing as well as experience teaching undergraduate business students.
Applicants with relevant peer-reviewed publications are preferred. The applicant must commit to ongoing research productivity and demonstrate participation in the broader academic community in terms of journal review responsibilities, participation in academic conferences, and other academic roles.
A commitment to service to the Department, School, and College is also essential. The applicant must show a strong interest in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and/or graduate students and enjoy working closely with student advisees to establish academic and professional goals.
