As we continue to grow, the Membership and Marketing Manager will help our teams maintain and improve the vital, informative newsletters and social media updates they share with our communities partners as a public service.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Membership and Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Building and growing a membership program that consistently strives for improved acquisition, conversion and retention rates
- Developing and executing membership campaigns, including: renewals, year-end giving and other special appeals
- Participate in developing membership goals, identifying growth opportunities, and developing strategies to meet targets
- Strategizing membership actions based on data in EveryAction (CRM), including segmenting lists, running reports on performance, updating records and performing some back end processes
- Analyzing data to better understand and be responsive to audience members and supporters
- Manage multi-channel marketing campaigns and tailor digital presence to membership program
- Advise colleagues on social media best practices and standards
- Guide and implement the organization’s comprehensive and integrated marketing plan to achieve audience objectives
- Supporting development by responsively assisting in special projects
COMPENSATION
The minimum salary for this position is $70,000 and rises with experience. Our generous benefits package includes:

This position requires work on a Monday-Friday schedule with occasional time outside those hours to support breaking news coverage. There will be opportunities to travel to work with colleagues across the network, as well as for professional development
