A Marketing Specialist primarily focuses on the implementation of the marketing strategy and administration of programs. This includes, but is not limited to, Advertising, Events, Sponsorships, Email/Direct Mail Campaigns, Marketing Collateral, and Creative Design. The goal is to help increase DQE communications visibility in the marketplace to assist sales efforts.
Identify and implement new marketing strategies and programs.
Design, create, and update various collateral and presentation materials for DQE Sales.
Design and create digital and print advertisements.
Initiate customer lead programs, develop and implement emails/direct mail campaigns, including design templates. Knowledge of drip campaigns beneficial. Primary user of DQE email platform software.
Working closely with Sales on lead generation, continually refine the process to convert customers by capitalizing on the understanding of how marketing activity turns into customers.
Manage sponsorship and exhibit deliverables; in coordination with Sales.
Collaboratively managing the planning and hosting of customer events.
Work with outside marketing vendor relationships.
Manage chamber/technology council memberships and the company’s social media profiles.
Manage DQE website changes, accuracy of information, ensure integrations with CRM and email platform.
Administration of marketing projects including the related upkeep of the marketing calendar.
3-5 years related experience. Solid communication skills are a must. Excellent communicator and creative thinker, both verbal and written, to communicate in a professional manner; Good problem-solving skills; Proficiency with presentation tools, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Active Campaign, Netsuite and Excel; Results oriented; Team Player. Bonus experience and skills include demand generation marketing and inbound marketing.
