Description: The Haslam College of Business (HCB) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, invites applications for a Marketing Career Coordinator (Full-time, Exempt) in the Marketing Department. Reporting to the Marketing Partnerships Manager, the Marketing Career Coordinator has responsibility for interfacing with Marketing and Sales Innovation Alliance (MSI-A) partners, corporate recruiters, and approximately 1500 students in two marketing degree programs to create opportunities for students to develop professionally and obtain employment. The position will serve to connect students and corporate partners and work closely with Haslam's Undergraduate Professional and Career Development team and the Office of Career Management for Graduate & Executive Education in support of student employment and partner recruiting objectives.

For students, this role functions in a career coaching and mentorship capacity, providing an opportunity for both 1:1 engagement as well as creating and deploying major-wide communications and job information to serve the broader Department of Marketing student community. For MSI-A corporate partners, this position enhances their recruiting efforts by providing individualized consulting on recruiting strategies and contributing to job posting, campus events, networking events, on-campus interviews, and company site visits in order to better help provide access to internship and full-time opportunities for students.
