MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS ADMINISTRATOR, MIT Professional Education (PE), to collaborate with PE colleagues, program director/s, other staff, faculty, clients, and vendors in the delivery of world-class professional education programs to companies and individuals. Will be responsible for the administration of operations, including finance for PE marketing in a dynamic and challenging environment. Marketing operations duties will include assisting with the development and implementation of marketing plans, communicating marketing vision and strategy, and developing and managing the forecasts and budgets for PE marketing.
MIT Professional Education, under the School of Engineering, offers a suite of education programs and products to serve the continuing educational needs of technology and engineering professionals globally.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree in marketing and communications or a related field; at least three years of communications, marketing, and/or finance experience; experience developing strategic plans for marketing and preparing or assisting with the preparation of comprehensive marketing plans; strong finance, financial analysis, and reporting skills; discretion and diplomacy with confidential and sensitive matters; excellent written and verbal English communication and presentation skills, both virtually and face-to-face; ability to make sound judgments, assess information, and resolve problems; a proven record of employing creative approaches to challenges; in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint; and experience using a variety of video conferencing applications. PREFERRED: experience in a marketing or communications role in higher education; familiarity with Quip, Slack, and Salesforce; and knowledge of MIT. Job #22873-7
