Job Description:
Assistant Professor of Marketing and Sport Management, Tenure-Track, position is available in August 2023, to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Marketing, Management, and Sport Management.
Industry experience, extensive experience working with student-athletes, and ability to teach a variety of courses in Marketing, Management, and Sport Management is expected. Teaching experience in Event Planning would be a plus. Excellence in teaching is required. The candidate also is expected to conduct scholarly activities in their area of concentration to maintain AACSB Scholarly Academic status, and to participate in service activities to the university, community and profession.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must hold an earned doctorate from an AACSB accredited institution in Marketing or Sport Management or a closely related field
Must have recent peer-reviewed publications and presentations to meet the AACSB Scholarly Academic qualification status
Previous teaching experience, including demonstrated ability to teach effectively in a technology-facilitated environment as well as in a traditional classroom setting is a requirement
