At the core of the ELPA21 system is collaboration with our clients - U.S. States to constantly improve and enhance the tests and professional learning to best support English learners and the educators who work with them. Collaboration with states happens at numerous levels: in every ELPA21 department, via topic-specific committees and task forces comprised of SEA and LEA staff, co-presenting at conferences and stakeholder events, and setting the strategic direction for the program via a Governing Board of states.
ELPA21 operates as a project management organization, with department managers and directors developing strategic plans, prioritizing key initiatives, and managing work, while project managers and coordinators execute those plans under supervision, manage schedules, deliverables, requirements, and timelines. ELPA21 offers an atmosphere of strong team work, flexibility in approach and styles, and a supportive environment in which to contribute and grow.
The Marketing and Sales Coordinator will support the ELPA21 Product Development team as a sales and product development coordinator. The role will encompass project management, coordination across products and departments, and supporting customer inquiries and purchases. Working under the supervision of the ELPA21 Director of Product Development and Strategic Partnerships, the Marketing and Sales Coordinator will develop marketing and sales materials, such as flyers, advertisements, and scripts for videos. The Coordinator will be the first point of contact for customers, so good public relation skills and a genuine desire to be supportive will be essential to success in this role.
Attention to detail is critical, as the Coordinator will be responsible for documenting the project management best practices and workflows used by the Product Development team. Coordinating multiple timelines and projects concurrently, incorporating stakeholder feedback, and communicating progress and results will all be essential in this role, as will a collaborative spirit and strong teamwork. The Marketing and Sales Coordinator will also manage data related to product sales, which will include both managing new leads and campaigns and reporting on conversions and growth.
