The Communications and Marketing Department is responsible for the overall brand management and communications, marketing, digital and advertising activities of the entire academic medical center. The Senior Marketing and Communications Consultant position supports growing volume and building reputation for specific service lines as assigned.
Position Summary
The Senior Marketing Consultant is a marketing strategist, responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of brand, communication and marketing initiatives to support assigned service lines and the goals of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. This person should be a marketing strategist focused on business objectives. He/she is a brand champion and must be able to create strategic marketing plans, creative briefs and communications to achieve short- and long-term goals and priorities. The person should be a great collaborator who is able to build and maintain relationships both with clients and within the department. The individual must be able to juggle multiple projects, be comfortable with constant change and provide creative solutions to leverage owned and paid media to drive volume and enhance national reputation.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in communications, marketing or related area. Minimum of 5 years professional experience in consumer marketing and project management, preferably in the health care industry.
