Job Summary: | The Associate Director of Marketing Analytics will bring a data-driven mindset to how Marist College plans, assesses and continuously improves and innovates in its digital marketing and communications strategy. This role is part of the College’s Office of Communications and Marketing, but also works as a close partner to the admissions and enrollment teams to help optimize the institution’s recruitment efforts. Areas of focus include analytics and reporting on web, social media, email campaigns and paid digital placements. This individual also works closely with the Associate Director of Social Media to collaborate on, and help drive, a college-wide social media strategy, with particular attention paid to social listening and analyzing engagement with the College’s social media content. We are looking for someone who loves data, identifying trends and converting them into innovative action, and being part of a team that thinks strategically but isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to produce high-quality work. |
Minimum Qualifications: | - Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in marketing and data analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, data/analytics or a related field

Essential Functions: | - Develop regular reports to help inform marketing and communications strategies and use aggregated data to provide recommendations for improvement across all channels, based on department and institutional key performance indicators.
- Build a quality scoring system using historical and current prospective student data from variety of sources to inform targeted messaging that will help drive future enrollment.
- Identify campaign successes and work closely with applicable team members to develop strategies to apply across other mediums.
- Leverage social media listening software to identify opportunities for viral content as well as threats to Marist’s brand reputation and bring forward as appropriate.
- Oversees analysis of data across all media as well as the optimization of campaigns daily.
- Writes and wraps code strings around all digital assets to ensure accurate measurement and tracking of campaigns at granular levels.
