As member of the academic unit management team, work with business school dean and unit executive committee members to strategically position unit, and prioritize, plan and coordinate effective marketing and communications projects and campaigns to constituent groups including current/prospective students, parents, business professionals, business community, donor, alumni and faculty. Liaison with central staff to plan and execute unit marketing and communication in support of and adherence to university brand, style and guidelines. Provide project management planning and support (editorial, writing, project management) services to unit marketing, communication and web projects. Provide strategic planning as well as writing services, including gathering, organizing and condensing information from various sources for university communication vehicles. Ensure academic unit marketing supports central university branding messages and design. Review copy to ensure adherence to university standards and style. Edit and proofread as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, advertising, journalism, English, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
This position requires at least 5 years of experience with writing, project management, editing, and working with designers.
This position requires experience using content management systems to manage web sites, experience using social media for an organization, experience managing budgets, and experience with media planning.
Excellent organizational, analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
