As part of the Tenet Strategic Marketing Group (TSMG), the Manager, Creative Design will be responsible for leading the creative design strategy of all enterprise campaigns that support clinical growth priorities.
The Creative Design Manager defines and drives the creative design strategic vision, voice, and style of the Tenet Health brand. S/he will inspire creativity in graphic designers, photographers and supporting staff. The Creative Design Manager is a Marketing support role that works together with the hospital facilities, Corp Comm and Recruitment across the enterprise. The creative design manager will proactively build collaborative relationships in the market to gather input and feedback throughout the creative development process.
The Creative Design Manager will lead and manage a team of 8 graphic designers across the home office and the Global Business Center in Manila. The candidate must have a keen eye for detail, innovation, and creative leadership. The Manager works well with cross-functional teams and can influence his/her strategic vision for the entire marketing team. In addition, s/he must be able to work across multiple marketing departments to develop creative design aligned with Tenetâ��s marketing and brand needs as required. S/he thrives on developing impactful campaigns that engage our consumers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead best-in-class creative graphic design to support all aspects of enterprise campaign execution, ensuring brand consistency across all channels
Own the graphic design process from concept to completion, including proofing for accuracy and adherence to brand style guides and deadlines
Together with the marketing directors and content team, the design manager will help lead concept development, design, production, and project management for all campaigns.
Supervise graphic design creative department overall processes and daily workflow. Assigns project workload and monitors deadlines, ensuring the ability to prioritize efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Serve as a brand guardian for Tenet and its other entities. Partner with the VP/Director of marketing to establish and refine Tenet Healthcareâ��s brand standards and style guides
Work with the other managers and disciplines â�� video and content - to devise deliverables and ensure accurate delivery of campaign assets that serve consumers based on need and channel
Inspire and nurture creativity and quality in the work of designers
Evaluate trends in healthcare marketing to ensure we deliver best in class executions
Set priorities, foster cohesion, and motivate cross-functional teams
Establish and maintain effective working relations with various internal and external stakeholders.
Work with hospital managers and/or senior staff to collect creative needs, deadlines, objectives, content, etc.
Provide statistical information on project performance and team outputs.
Be responsible for managing, publishing, and maintaining content in AEM (Adobe Experience Management). This is a hands-on role that requires content implantation using AEM content management platform
Experience in creative/design for multi-channel marketing including, but not limited to, HTML, HTML5, and other digital channels.
Administration and Team Management
Manage vendors and/or junior team members as needed
Lead a team of graphic designers
Maintain ticket management and status reporting system efficiently
Must provide a graphic design portfolio that demonstrates knowledge in composition, hierarchy, and color theory, as well as a clear understanding of typography and layout
Bachelorâ��s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or Fine Arts, or related field or equivalent work experience
10+ years of progressive experience in the marketing or graphic design fields
5+ years of experience in a creative leadership role
Proficient in Mac operating system, Adobe CCS, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and Adobe Experience Manager, Photoshop, and InDesign.
In-depth knowledge of brand development in a multi-channel healthcare environment a plus
Proven familiarity with both print and digital production workflows
