Trinity seeks a creative and skilled marketing and communications professional to bring innovative ideas, digital fluency and a collaborative spirit toward the advancement of the school’s strategic goals. Qualified candidates should be comfortable with digital marketing strategies, analysis of data, facility with the latest technological tools and solutions as well as creativity in the area of visual design, storytelling and audience engagement. Reporting to the director of communications and marketing — and working in conjunction with the school’s development, alumni, admission, athletics, arts and academic departments — the ideal candidate will have a commitment to strategic institutional messaging, mission-driven communications and a coordinated approach to advancing Trinity’s digital marketing strategies.
The successful candidate will:
Tell the story of the Trinity mission by engaging an audience of parents, alumni, prospective families and the community at large with balanced, timely, compelling and authentic messages across multiple digital media platforms, especially video, social media and digital advertising.
Create and curate content for the school’s expansive social media presence, collaborating with coaches, teachers and students to share an authentic view of the Trinity experience.
Conceptualize, execute and distribute original, creative and engaging video content.
Track and review online traffic analytics and monitoring services to evaluate website, email marketing and social media performance and ROI.
Document in photo and video Trinity's mission in action, attending school and community events, including off-campus trips and evening/weekend events when necessary.
Maintain the school’s website with fresh, engaging content and regular, accurate updates; create and distribute consistent and concise electronic communications.
Coordinate with other departments and program areas (including Development, Admissions, Athletics, Summer Programs, and the IB Diploma Programme) to create and review external communications.
Ensure that the school’s well-established brand is expressed consistently, comprehensively and with the highest quality and alignment with the school’s style and visual identity guides.
Skills and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related field is preferred, as is experience in nonprofits, schools or educational settings. Excellent written, visual and digital communications skills are a necessity for the position, as is keen data analysis (both qualitative and quantitative). The candidate should be enthusiastic, outgoing and have the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
In addition, the ideal candidate should have:
Minimum of two years of related experience; portfolio including a range of video and digital design samples a plus
Demonstrated expertise in digital storytelling through strategic use of social media
Demonstrated expertise in video production, editing and project management
Comfort and interest in interacting with multiple constituents (students, teachers, administrators, alumni, parents) to craft stories and content that build community
Demonstrated proficiency with industry standard digital marketing strategies and tactics
Demonstrated proficiency with digital advertising strategy and ROI analysis
Experience with website content management systems, SEO, analytics and UX optimization
Demonstrated ability to write, edit and proofread content for a variety of media channels (familiarity with AP Style a plus)
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Lightroom, Photoshop, Indesign)
