Who You Are The Vice President, Marketing is responsible for creating and implementing all major company marketing direction, strategy, marketing logistics, and daily management of the team. This position is an active member of OAC’s Executive Team and works collaboratively with other firm leaders to manage the organization. This includes conceptualization and team execution of all major marketing initiatives in collaboration with sales/business development and CEO vision.
Primary Responsibilities Strategy
Actively participates in firm wide Executive-level decision making as a member of OAC’s Executive Team.
Develops and implements strategic marketing plans in partnership with OAC’s Executive Team.
Guides all marketing and works with Market Leaders to develop business development plans; and actively evaluates those plans to enable successful and measurable results.
Keeps up with innovative marketing tactics and utilizes these innovations to bring new growth in both digital and traditional marketing.
Works with Executives to understand the core businesses and markets within OAC.
Analyzes and tracks market and economic trends, including competitive analysis.
Articulates company marketing goals and plans to both reach and maintain those goals.
Develops and manages all marketing department budgets.
Collaborates with Market leaders on their individual business development budgets, providing insight and firm wide perspective on donations, events, sponsorships, conferences, etc.
Provides leadership and/or support for design, development, and implementation of service and product lines.
Leads market channel development and distribution, establishing goals and KPI's.
Oversees and leads all marketing, PR, creative direction, digital media, and brand expansion efforts.
Works with Market Leaders to create user programs of interest, such as customer retention programs.
Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image (brand) throughout all company services, products, materials, events, and communications.
Responsible for accuracy, relevancy, and expansion of all collateral including resumes, website, and other media.
Implements consistent brand standards across multiple regions.
Ensures all marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives, and consistent with company branding.
Assures quality and accuracy of all proposals and RFP’s as compiled by internal and external team members for both public and private sector projects.
Oversees consistent proposal development processes, tools, and best practices.
Monitors services, sales, and marketing activities and oversees advertising and promotional activities.
Oversees all marketing efforts of all locations and focus areas of the company, including sites, partners, and contractors.
Oversees and directs all outside contractors in the marketing arena.
Monitors business development plans and pipeline. Follows up with business developer players to encourage and coach their prospects to contracted sales.
Participates, guides, and collaborates in all business development plans, including strategy, execution, and reporting.
Oversees and directs outside contractors in sales and business development arenas.
Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
Directs and manages the marketing team to fulfill marketing and company strategies.
Directs staff, training, mentorship, and performance to develop and control sales and marketing programs.
Creates effective systems within the department to streamline, report, and generate accurate visibility aligning to company and department goals.

Required Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent experience required.
Minimum 10 years' experience leading marketing initiatives, branding campaigns, and creation of creative content.
Minimum 5 years' experience in management of professional staff and internal teams required.
Experience in high volume project management of multiple, overlapping, and coordinated projects.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with high proficiency with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer and Excel required.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication, and presentation skills required.
Must be authorized to work in the United States for the duration of employment.
Must be able to pass motor vehicle record check and comply with OAC’s motor vehicle policy.
Minimum 5 years' experience in AEC industry preferred.
Proficiency in CRM Software required; Deltek Vision or VantagePoint preferred.
