The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), a fast paced, growing, trade association that serves the global food supply chain industry, is seeking a Coordinator of Business Development to join our team.
We are seeking a Coordinator of Business Development, who will support business development operations through coordination, tracking, monitoring, and measurement of the association’s sponsorship, exhibit and advertising sales prospecting, account management and fulfilment efforts. Along with developing opportunities to grow revenue and engagement globally.
Work in coordination with the Vice President and Manager of Business Development on sales and marketing activities around all business development goals
Conducting market research to identify new opportunities and markets to enter
Create and implement sales strategies to acquire new business
Develop a global prospect data base of prospective members and sponsors
Coordinate, maintain and regularly conduct outreach (calls, digital communications, meetings, etc.) to business development prospect pipeline
Coordinate visits and travel logistics for member and prospective visits
Produce reliable reports and statistics for all sponsorship, exhibit and advertising sales
Coordinate with accounting staff in tracking payments, collections, and applying payments for exhibits, sponsorships, and advertising sales
Support members/sponsors throughout their sales experience, including onboarding, account/profile management, agreement creation, and collecting demographic information
Maintain the integrity and accuracy of our sponsors/exhibitors/advertiser’s database and customer records
Collaborate and coordinate sponsor and associate member related workflows and processes with marketing, education, and business development teams
Update all materials focusing on business development, including websites, email, and other related sales materials brochures
Review and update business development related webpages
Coordinate deliverables for exhibitors and sponsors and other administrative support
Provide sales operational support EVP, VP and Manager of Business Development as needed
Participate in GCCA and industry events as needed
Other duties as assigned
At least 2 years’ experience in sales, business development, membership
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with a strong attention to detail
Familiarity with customer relationship management systems or associations management systems (e.g., netFORUM or Salesforce)
