We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our rapidly growing team.
The USC Auxiliary Services Marketing team is seeking a creative individual who is passionate about marketing to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. The Marketing Coordinator is a self-starter and is comfortable supporting multi-stakeholder marketing projects, has strong project management and communication skills, is accountable, detail-oriented and highly organized. This position will support the USC Auxiliary Services Marketing team in a variety of areas such as CRM, UX, ecommerce, social media, design, production, PR, and copywriting/content development.
Coordinates activities to promote awareness of services and/or products within the University community and/or to the general public, such as email, digital marketing, advertising, PR, social media. Analyzes, monitors, and evaluates marketing efforts for effectiveness, as assigned.
Coordinates design, production of marketing projects, such as email campaigns, signage, print ads, social media, digital signage, etc.
Coordinates social media/email calendar and schedules; develops ideas for social media content and programs
Writes/creates marketing content, tailored for different target audiences and marketing channels
Maintains basic operations of the department, billing reconciliation, software licenses, etc.
Coordinate use of surveys and other market research instruments to collect appropriate information, as assigned.
Compile and analyze information and prepares reports and/or other documentation for management review.
Assists with project management task set-up, help team manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet aggressive deadlines
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 2 years
Expertise: Hands-on experience working with an ESP (email service provider) or similar marketing automation platform to manage marketing campaigns/emails. Deep understanding of social media trends Experience creating and writing marketing content and messaging
