The position will be responsible for the implementation of marketing plans, social media and comprehensive communications to reach NYU students, alumni, faculty, researchers, and administrators across the College and in the wider nursing and NYU communities, applying different tactics to effectively communicate with different audiences. The Marketing Communications Administrator will be responsible for composing and distributing Meyers messaging, digital and verbal, both internally and externally. The position will work closely with the NYU Meyers communications team, as well as collaborate with relevant NYU Meyers departments and organizations, and will report to the Director of Communications at NYU Meyers.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree with studies in marketing communications.
Required Experience: 2+ years of experience in digital and print communications, writing, graphic design, social media, and/or branding. Experience and proficiency in Adobe Suite or similar.
Preferred Experience: 3+ years in a University setting. Experience with web design and working knowledge of HTML desirable.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent communication and writing skills. Strong interpersonal, customer service, and presentation skills. Familiarity with best practices in digital and print communications. Strong organizational skills as well as clear and direct communication. Eagerness to be part of a small, highly collaborative and effective team, where individuals play many roles. Comfort in dealing with various stakeholders. Outstanding attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. Ability to collaborate with program leads and representatives across office and departments. Excited about the health field, working closely with a team, and communicating clearly and dynamically. Accountable, data driven, creative, highly focused and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines at once.
