The Director of Athletic Communications is responsible for all athletic communications for the intercollegiate athletics program. This position reports to the Director of Athletics and is charged with providing the college community, prospective students, alumni, and the general public with an increased awareness of NEC’s athletics programs. • Creates and implements a strategic communications plan utilizing the latest sports marketing techniques, emerging technologies, social media, video and digital marketing tools to enhance recruitment and retention. • Initiates cross-departmental communication and collaboration with a variety of campus constituents including communications, marketing, alumni relations, student and academic affairs • Provides all on-site athletics
