The Department of Marketing in the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University is seeking applicants for a 3/4-time position at the rank of Contract Faculty to start in the Fall of 2022. The candidate also will serve the Department in the role of Student Adviser.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The teaching load is three courses per semester, including Consumer Behavior and International Marketing. Courses are face-to-face but candidates should be able to pivot to online synchronous if needed. Candidate will advise all Sophomore, Junior and Senior Marketing majors during Fall and Spring course registration campaigns; also advise on ad-hoc basis through summer.
MBA from an AACSB-accredited institution. Five or more years of university teaching experience, either full or part-time, with a demonstrated commitment to excellence. Significant experience in the marketing profession as well as experience working with students in a career management capacity (e.g., advising, career planning, recruiting).
Demonstrated ability to serve a diverse student body using online technology. Expertise in communicating and collaborating with college-age adults.
