Established in 1969, Ramapo College offers bachelor’s degrees in the arts, business, humanities, social sciences and the sciences, as well as in professional studies, which include business, elementary education, nursing and social work. The College also offers articulated programs, including dental, optometry, chiropractic and health professions, as well as visual arts therapy and law, with colleges and institutions in New Jersey and New York.
Undergraduate students may choose to concentrate their studies in one of five Schools with over 500 course offerings and more than 40 academic programs. Ramapo College boasts an average student to faculty ratio of 15 to 1 and an average class size of 21, which affords students the opportunity to develop close ties to the College’s exceptional faculty.
Ramapo College of New Jersey invites applications for a non-tenure-track Lecturer position in Marketing, which will begin with a one-year appointment that can be renewed upon satisfactory performance and based on programmatic need. The successful candidate will teach various undergraduate- and graduate-level Marekting courses each semester (i.e., 24 credits per year) in addition to performing service at the School and College level. Applicants must hold an MBA or Master’s in Marketing, and have experience in the marketing field. The appointment will begin August 31, 2022.

A commitment of service to the Convening Group, School, College, and community is required; this will include serving on Convening Group, School-level, and College-wide subcommittees, committees, and task forces, as well as overseeing and interacting with student-led organizations, clubs, and activities (Note: The nature of this service may vary with programmatic needs and the capabilities and areas of expertise of individual Lecturers. Specific service duties will be planned in consultation with the Dean.)
Engagement in professional activities in accordance with AACSB accreditation requirements is expected
Attending events such as Opening Convocation, Commencement, State of the College Addresses, and Founders’ Day
Applicants must hold an MBA or Master’s in Marketing, and have considerable experience in the marketing field by the appointment start date of August 31, 2022.
