Are you a marketing professional who wants to have an impact on the growth of our university? If you enjoy developing strategic marketing plans as well as implementing and executing a multitude of marketing tactics, this job may be an ideal role for you. The individual in this role will work collaboratively with our admissions team as well as academic program leaders developing marketing plans that will support growth in our academic programs. Admissions experience preferred.
Work Location: Bloomington, MN with flexibility to work 3+ days per week remotely; must live local and be able to come to campus as needed.
Work collaboratively with admissions to develop and execute integrated marketing plans across all marketing channels to drive enrollment.
Actively contribute new ideas and/or identification of existing vehicles to support admissions growth initiatives.
Create marketing assets in conjunction with other marketing team members (designer, writer, digital strategist). These may include advertisements, printed collateral, digital materials, social media messaging, lead nurturing communications, website content, etc.
Assist in the development of marketing segmentation studies, development of persona's, and develop and implement content that supports a targeted approach to marketing.
Analyze the outcomes of marketing campaign activity to assess performance and return on investment with the goal of continuously improving metrics measuring campaign effectiveness.
What you need to have?
Bachelor's degree (required) or Master's degree (preferred) in the fields of marketing, business, communication, or journalism
5+ years of marketing experience developing integrated marketing campaigns.
Experience in higher education marketing beneficial but not required.
Strong written, verbal, collaboration, and presentation communication skills.
Critical systems thinking and problem solving skills and experiences.
Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team, in a deadline-oriented setting.
Ability to develop content in a meaningful way across multiple mediums
