AABB is looking for a knowledgeable Marketing Manager that is responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans based on the overall marketing strategy set forth by the Director of Marketing and Communications, and the Associate Director of Marketing.

About the Role
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Marketing and Communications Department to coordinate marketing efforts for the Association.
- Develop and implement cross-channel marketing plans that help advance AABB’s relationships with corporate members of the blood and biotherapies community. This position will focus marketing initiatives on the following key aspects of AABB’s activities:
- Biotech
- Biotherapies
- Corporate members
- Consulting Services
- Strategize and manage multifunctional campaigns across multiple channels to support our overall strategic marketing plan that generate leads for sales staff, promote AABB products and services and serve as a touchpoint to our corporate members and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues throughout AABB to identify marketing needs, goals, timelines, and target audiences.
- Track progress of marketing plans and lead generation programs and accompanying budgets, and update directors on campaign progress.
- Copywrite and distribute frequent communications to member and non-member audiences.
- Conduct research and analysis on competition and product position.
- Support colleagues in the Marketing and Communications Department as needed.
About You
- Education - Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred (marketing, communications, English or areas of science).
- Experience – Five (5) to seven (7) years minimum marketing experience. Experience with the biotherapies/biotech field preferred. International marketing experience a plus.
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirements.
Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of B2B marketing, sales support marketing and marketing for biotech/biotherapies products. You have experience with and comfort in working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment with high expectations.
