We have an excellent career opportunity for a Sales & Marketing Assistant to join our Nutrition team at Abbott. This role is based at our head office in Macquarie Park.
Reporting to the Ethical Marketing Lead and supporting the Head of Sales, this role's focus is to provide executional support to the Sales & Marketing functions across a range of projects and strategic initiatives.

The main aspects of this role include:
- Lead and execute marketing activities and projects as required by the Sales & Marketing team
- Manage material and label development and internal approval for assigned projects in line with strategic direction; liaise with agency suppliers as required
- Lead the delivery and execution of requirements for internal and external Conferences and events
- Support the development of key content and collateral for company and brand websites
- Online portal administration support
- Manage HCP and company sponsorship requirements and Professional Service Agreements for Key Opinion Leaders
- Support key tender submissions
- Coordinate with Logistics on weekly backorders and ETAs
- Budget maintenance, tracking & engagement with key finance and agency stakeholders
- Support the Sales & Marketing team including meeting coordination, making travel bookings, filing and other general admin duties
- Assist with adhoc requirements and projects as required
What will make you a successful candidate:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Business preferred (or related field)
- Open to graduate level for ambitious self-starter wanting to kick start their career in Sales & Marketing; some exposure to a corporate environment is advantageous
- Hunger to learn and switched on; proactive and takes initiative
- Customer-centric approach with a natural desire to want to help and support your team
- Self-assured and a natural people-person with the ability to connect with people at all levels
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Technically savvy; proficient in Microsoft Office and exposure to digitals tools
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload with excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail with strong numeric skills
Due to the inherent requirements of the role, the preferred candidate must provide evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination before the commencement date and maintain a fully vaccinated status for the period of employment.
