The Executive Education Marketing team of the Stanford Graduate School of Business seeks an Associate Director of Channel Marketing.This Channel Associate is responsible for expanding awareness of Stanford's portfolio of product offerings (domestically and globally) as well as prospecting & retargeting new and existing customers for lead generation and conversion. The team has ownership & jurisdiction over the marketing funnel and can leverage channels including, but not limited to email, SEM, SEO, paid social, organic social, display, print, and direct mail. The Channel Associate's primary responsibility is the development of the customer journey. This includes inception, creation and execution of marketing campaigns and tactics used for connecting with consumers and driving lead acquisition and customer conversion.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to connect prospects with Stanford Executive Education programs and products that will enable them to make positive impacts in their organizations and communities.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position where the work can be performed with the expectation of being onsite in a hybrid setting of at least 2 days per week.
Primary Responsibilities: - This individual is responsible for managing performance and optimization across pre-identified KPIs. This includes a solid understanding of the marketing funnel across Awareness and Direct Response objectives.
- This person will develop, design, and execute new campaigns, collaborating with other team members and cross-functional stakeholders for various elements.
- Manage & report on all digital acquisition metrics weekly, monthly & quarterly (i.e., ROAS, CTR, CPA, CPM).
- Manage & report on email metrics per execution (i.e. open rates, CTRs, CVRs).
- This person will embrace forecasting, creating, testing, and iterating in their work. This includes having a clear desired outcome per marketing initiative and recommendations for campaign improvements through data analysis.
- This person will engage in content & creative development for lead capture forms and associated landing pages with the objective to increase conversions.
- This person will need to provide strategic perspective and keyword performance insights to advise content strategies.
- They will have a strong understanding of conversion best practices, ensure our practices meet benchmarks, and be able to implement changes to improve our practices as needed. This includes reporting out on CAC.
- This role works closely with the marketing operations team and has shared responsibility for flawless campaign execution.
- This person will seek to proactively develop and expand their understanding of channels and tactics in the market and use that knowledge to expand the activities and strategies in our portfolio. This includes proposing, developing and executing new conversion channels, placements and activities.
- Creating ongoing campaigns that are specifically designed to target new customers, current customers, and re-engage past customers.
- Design, execute and measure direct mail campaigns for acquisition and reactivation audiences.
- Drive the creation of direct mail collateral, new or updating existing.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the organization.
Specific tasks include but are not limited to: - Journey creation and maintenance

- Copy or content creation for conversion activities or campaigns
- Offer development or creation
- Implementation and execution of campaigns
- Creating, managing, and executing reporting metrics as needed to inform the organization regarding the performance of conversion channels and activities.
- Post mortem recaps quarterly / business stand-ups to share out on performance and learnings.
- Project or process management
- Systems knowledge: Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Tableau, Excel, Google Suite, FB Business Manager and other systems as needed.
To be successful in this position, you will bring: - Bachelor's degree and eight years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in management of projects, including project planning, scheduling, tracking, and budgeting.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate internal and external audiences. Excellent written and oral communication.
- Strong analytical skills to review and assess campaign metrics.
- Comfort with technology and data management.
- Ability to liaise and work cross-functionally.
In addition, preferred requirements include: - Functional experience in financial analysis, operations, program management, or customer service is desirable.
- Experience in higher education and education technology is also desirable.
