The incumbent will develop, manage, execute and evaluate marketing communications to support graduate recruitment goals of the Online MS program in the Department of Information Systems (IS), producing high quality, on-time, on-budget results.
Specific responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:
Developing strategies for effective marketing campaigns;
Executing and evaluating marketing communications plans;
Assembling and managing project implementation teams, working closely with members of the department;
Managing and participating in design and content development of material for marketing communications;
Writing and editing copy for accuracy, clarity and consistency of message;
Proactively establishing and maintaining effective working team relationships with all support departments;
Performing other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, English or related field and three years of related experience in project management, strategic marketing communications development, direct marketing or advertising writing
Excellent verbal and written skills
Commitment to high standards
The ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively
Must be technically proficient in using office suite and graphics software with the ability to design and produce basic print and web graphics and have a working knowledge of information architecture, web and database technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in strategic marketing, print publications management or familiarity with print materials development process, social media, direct mail materials development and/or media buying experience.
