Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning is searching for an experienced digital marketing expert. You will create strategies to generate leads and continue growing the number of qualified applicants to our programs in architecture, urban planning, urban technology, and urban design. Reporting to the director of marketing and communications, you will broaden our recruitment efforts by developing and carrying out plans that integrate a mix of marketing, branding, communications, and advertising tactics. You will align our brand with our mission and strategy by:
Positioning the identity of Taubman College as distinct and memorable.
Collaborating with others to create and scale new opportunities for awareness, recruitment, enrollment, engagement, and event attendance.
Evaluating the effectiveness of recruiting marketing efforts and utilizing analytics to pursue continuous improvement.
Building on our unwavering commitment to academic excellence; diversity, equity, and inclusion; and innovation.

While this job is situated in Ann Arbor and some on-campus work is expected, Taubman College offers flexible work arrangements for staff.
Set priorities, evaluate strategies, and execute tactics to grow the number of qualified applicants to our eight degree programs within the college.
Develop and implement targeted marketing tools to attract top prospective students.
Evaluate and deploy new social/digital platforms and identify new marketing opportunities to reach and engage prospective students by understanding core needs, drivers, and new ways to reach students in a changing market.
Use best practices across channels or platforms through benchmarking and awareness of key recruitment marketing trends.
Ensure that all admissions marketing plans are consistent with the college's brand and messaging.
Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and enhance content, platforms, audiences, time, and user experience.
Execute the college's efforts in social media and online brand management. Track Taubman College's presence, growth, and market share on social media platforms and use analytical insights to guide marketing efforts.
Help with budget process for admissions marketing and track expenses for assigned portfolio.
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
Five years of related work experience.
Experience marketing academic programs using a variety of concepts and tactics.
Knowledge of communications channels; publications, web, and multimedia with an understanding of online/social media strategy and savviness with platforms.
Expertise in using web-based technologies (e.g., Google Analytics, MailChimp, Marketing Cloud and social networking applications).
Experience using data in developing sound marketing strategy, ability to analyze and interpret data.
