Position Summary: The Director of Marketing & Communications is an integral part of the business unit operational senior leadership team and consultative strategist who collaborates with operational business/physician leaders, business development and strategy, analytics, finance, clinical support, outside partners and the Corporate Marketing & Communications team to drive business growth within the overall strategic plan. The Director plans, implements and monitors ongoing strategic marketing and communications programs in support of the goals and objectives of the business unit; leads a team of business unit marketers and communicators to plan, execute and report outcomes through the development of comprehensive, multi-channel marketing and communication strategies and plans; collaborates with the multiple teams and leadership across the organization to produce integrated ROI analytics reporting and provides strategic counsel on best practices in creating effective marketing and communication strategies. This is a matrix role, serving on the Leadership Team for the Strategic Planning, Marketing and Communications Department and the business unit leadership team.
Minimum Requirements: Ten (10) years of experience working in progressively more responsible positions in the marketing field demonstrating results as a proven strategic marketing and communications professional that can generate and execute on breakout marketing ideas Three (3) years of experience working as a Marketing Director or above Five (5) years of experience in progressively more responsible management roles Work requires the ability to flex hours to include evenings and weekends
Education/Licenses/Certifications: Bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field Masters degree in business administration, marketing or like field preferred
