MARKETING CENTER OF EXCELLENCE

We are seeking an intellectually curious, organized, hands-on professional to assist in Marketing's ambitious change agenda. The Enterprise Marketing Strategist will play a critical role in bringing strategic programs from ideation to execution, by helping Marketing leaders think through company and competitive context, articulating compelling business cases, and building detailed plans for development and deliverables.
Aiding Marketing leaders in developing consistent, compelling narratives for strategic plans and programs; serve as a thought partner for colleagues across the COE.
Articulating and mapping the elements of Marketing's strategic change agenda, including definition, sequencing, and interdependencies.
Contributing to enhanced capabilities by ensuring all strategy leverages digital and data in new and effective ways.
Collaborate with relevant leaders and subject matter experts to define problems, identify stakeholders, and source needed data and information.
Structure strategic engagements to propose and/or deliver on actionable recommendations and implementation plans.
Advance our overall capabilities for strategic development, innovation, and storytelling.
Facilitate quarterly and ad hoc reporting on key initiatives.
Skills required to ensure your success include:
Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience.
Copywriting and Editing: Knowledge of copywriting and editing; ability to write, review and edit texts and documents to promote marketing.
Creativity: Knowledge of the approaches, tools, and techniques for promoting creative, original thinking and ability to apply it to a variety of business situations.
Marketing Strategy and Positioning: Knowledge of market research, segmentation, and channels; ability to use business models to develop and implement marketing strategies, objectives, and tactics as well as establishing a communications plan.
Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

3+ years of experience
Strong track record of academic performance
Ability to think through comprehensive strategic solutions--inclusive of strategic and competitive context, establishing an end-to-end vision, and identifying potential risks
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
Financial services experience preferred
Marketing or communications professionals strongly encouraged
