Reimbursed: selling directly to the NHS where our medical nutrition products are prescribed to patients via healthcare professionals
Direct-to-consumer: selling directly to the end user via online and in-store channels,
Abbott's nutrition business is delighted to be offering two marketing internship positions to support our Brand Managers in executing marketing strategies and tactics, which will provide the opportunity to gain experience across a number of marketing channels, and working with a broad cross-functional team. Throughout the 13-month placement, you will have the opportunity to work on the reimbursed and direct-to-consumer sides of the business, supporting the respective brand managers across a variety of marketing executions including:
Conducting competitor analysis
Developing materials to support campaigns (concept to execution)
Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail, and web)
Supporting with budget management
This opportunity is suitable for a student studying towards a degree (Bachelors or Integrated Masters) in a Marketing or Business related topic and would form part of a year in industry requirement. You will be confident at working independently as well as part of a team, demonstrate a creative flair whilst balancing this with ability to work in a process-based environment, and offer a people-focused mindset.
Throughout the placement, you will have regular opportunities to learn, develop, grow and of course gain continuous feedback, coaching and mentoring to further support your learning. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to experience marketing activities at the forefront of the healthcare industry.
This role will be based at our Maidenhead site.
