We are looking for a media operations, data and tagging leader to join our digital marketing team. As a member of the CMO org, you’ll be expected to establish governance and media processes. You will develop a strategic approach to all media tagging that covers internal and agency team members.
You will be the gatekeeper for media and 3rd party tagging responsibilities across .com, engaging with other teams across the organization (Business Unit, Consumer Experience and Global Technology Services) to help develop these processes and guidelines.
You will provide strategic guidance for our Digital Center of Excellence by recommending and implementing tagging strategies across paid social, paid search, programmatic display and affiliate initiatives. You’ll assist the team with any trafficking, tagging or operations issues that arise, helping to troubleshoot any tracking hiccups that may occur. You will help develop a governance structure and ensure all teams are following and aligning with the process.
You will manage the objectives and projects of our agency advertising operations and platforms team, partnering with them to develop roadmaps for operational improvements across trafficking and quality assurance.

You'll be responsible for:
The governance and quality of the data inputs into multiple reporting systems
Supporting the Media and Engagement team for all technical implementation needs
Building quality assurance systems used to ensure operational excellence and tracking across all our media campaigns
Creating and enforcing best practices for all tracking across media channels to align to reporting and analytics needs
Translating complex technical concepts for leadership and executives and presenting them with fresh approaches that align with the evolving landscape of ad tech today will drive you forward
Acting as a subject matter expert for the future of Verizon Marketing Technology
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree and six or more years of work experience, preferably at a marketing agency, client or ad tech company.
Six or more years of relevant work experience
This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.
Even Better If You Have...
Experience with 3 or more media and martech stack technologies, including ad servers, DSPs, DMPs and other ad platforms (Innovid, Flashtalking, Yahoo, DV360, Adobe Audience Manager, SA360, Kenshoo/Skai, or Google Ads)
Experience trafficking media campaigns.
Knowledge about the media landscape and how digital advertising campaigns are executed.
Experience with media and martech stacks, including ad servers or other ad platforms (ex. Doubleclick)
Operational knowledge of tag management systems (Adobe Launch or Tealium) and site tagging processes.
Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders.
Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences.
Working proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint.
A deep technical understanding of the marketing tools, technologies and practices needed to shape the marketing landscape.
Understanding of privacy and data laws/restrictions (CCPA, GDPR etc.)
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team in a fast changing environment with changing priorities and changing time constraints.
Ability to interpret business requests and communicate findings in an intelligible manner.
Detail-oriented approach to holistic marketing measurement and project management.
Familiarity with site analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, GA360).
Accomplishments in data visualization.
Strong attention to detail.
Proven Project Management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply business strategy to data analysis and recommendations.
