A DC-based association management company is looking for a creative, versatile digital marketing & webinar coordinator with a client success mindset to join our growing team! This position would work closely with both our executive and sales teams and be responsible for multi-channel external facing marketing and engagement content for three client associations in a fast-paced environment.
The right person will be experienced in or willing to learn various channels such as email marketing, retargeting, search engine optimization (SEO), website, print & digital advertising, direct mail, and social media and will blend creative and analytical thinking to create and deploy engaging content.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and execute marketing campaigns and create the supporting deliverables and marketing collateral to grow and promote membership (corporate and associate), certifications, conferences, webinars, publications, etc.
Copywrite for a variety of marketing vehicles, including emails, advertisements, brochures and websites, as well as proofreading and editing.
Develop and deploy ongoing and effective association communication vehicles (newsletters, eblasts, press releases, social media, etc.).
Create and manage marketing timelines and keep up-to-date marketing calendar for assigned organizations.
Assess the success of the content within campaigns and use data to make recommendations for future campaigns.
Ability to understand needs of clients, members, sponsors, etc. and how to craft content and strategies to catch their attention and meet their needs.
Represent assigned associations to external organizations and other stakeholder audiences, such as at tradeshows.
Understand and keep up-to-date with constant developments with assigned associations and target industries.
Foster existing and establish new media partnerships and partnerships relevant industry organizations, ensure fulfillment of signed agreements.
Assist Meeting Manager in all aspects of meetings and webinars coordination.
Help with coordination of special projects.
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
1-3 years of experience working for an association management company (AMC), not-for-profit associations, or a marketing/PR firm.
Experience with web-based technology and tools, including but not limited to
o Informz, Constant Contact or a similar marketing platform
o Internal/External SEO and Google Analytics
o Retargeting platforms such as Feathr, Naylor, etc. as well as paid advertisement via Google Ads
o SurveyMonkey, Vimeo, YouTube, etc.
o Adobe InDesign experience is preferred but not required.
Interest/experience in construction industry is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Plan, organize and prioritize work effectively yet remain flexible in order to adapt to changes in work environment.
Excellent time-management, prioritizing, problem prevention and problem-solving skills.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
