What you’ll be doing...
Do you love to tell a story and enjoy seeing it come to life? Are you good at developing and communicating a vision that inspires, surprises, and delights? The Retail Marketing Activation Manager will develop narrative and placement strategies to inspire the creative development of communications across all of Verizon’s retail channels (Direct, Indirect, National Retail). The narrative strategies will ladder up to Verizon’s Value Prop while complementing other messages being communicated in the retail environment. You will help champion Verizon’s retail transformation, leading and driving campaigns that are best-in-class, supporting Verizon’s key programs and initiatives based on business priorities. You will develop POVs and briefs that will push boundaries and drive sales. The ideal candidate must be collaborative, thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment, make informed quick decisions, and have a solution-oriented approach to their work.
Leads Retail Strategy Development through the development of POVs and briefs to inspire the development and execution of innovative and engaging retail experiences.
Partners with the Creative Marketing Group on aligned objectives ensuring the creative is on strategy, meets business objectives and is on budget.
Responsible for alignment and integration with cross-channel teams, managing the ongoing communication with these stakeholders for applicable projects. Key partners include, but not limited to other Marketing Activation teams, Integrated Marketing, GTM, Brand, Production, Customer Experience/Design, Retail Merchandising and Ops, Product and Device teams, IT and their vendors.
Works closely with CMI and other research partners to test hypotheses and determine how work performs in our stores.
Travel to 140 West Street (NY) location on a regular basis to meet with CMG partners.
Travel to Basking Ridge, NJ on a regular basis to meet with cross functional partners.
Located in Basking Ridge, NJ or 140 West Street, NY.
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Willingness to travel 25%, to visit all 3 Markets regularly.
Availability during non-business hours, as needed.
Marketing communications or other strategic creative experience with a focus on translating market knowledge into compelling stories and tools for sales channels.

Experience in leading projects across functional teams.
Ability to be collaborative, have an open mind and support team decision.
