Works collaboratively with Development, Outreach/Engagement, Production, and Web to lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration. Plans and directs marketing, promotion and public relations activities to enhance the external image of the station. Assists in developing community relationships.
Bachelor's Degree preferably in public relations, broadcasting, marketing, communication or related field. Five years professional work experience in marketing and/or media environment. Possess critical thinking, analytical, and creative talent to develop a concept, idea, or content into a strong visual presentation that maximizes marketing effectiveness. Excellent written and verbal communication, including strong editing, grammar, and proof-reading skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously. Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns. Strong project management, multitasking, organizational and decision-making skills. Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships with various constituencies. Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity. Self-motivated team player with the ability to inspire trust and confidence with colleagues and the public. Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy and management.
