This entails the development & implementation of effective brand plans, making appropriate choices across the marketing mix and across channels.
Develop and implement short and long-term strategic marketing plans (Develop and implement New product launch plans, objectives and tactics that lead to Market Share gain. Develop local marketing and promotional materials and ensure all promotional activities are compliant with SJM Codes of Conduct.

Maintain a high knowledge of the scientific, technical, rational and differences between SJM and competitor products and ensure the Sales Force has a strong working knowledge.

Build strong working relationships with the sales force to ensure marketing programs are effectively executed. Keep up to date tracking of Customer coverage by Sales Force
Keep up to date tracking of Market Intelligence (Secondary Sales Data, New Accounts, Activities conducted etc.) Keep up to date with industry trends related to product portfolio.
Effectively develop and manage promotional budget to deliver strategic marketing plans and sales objectives. Facilitate Product & Therapy trainings to ensure entire team is up to date on product and clinical understanding.
Build enthusiasm for product portfolio throughout the organization through launching timely campaigns. Organize and attend National and International meetings and symposiums. Identify ways to improve the effectiveness of the marketing
Cross-functional interaction with Finance, Supply chain, RA, etc. for brand objectives
Lead interaction with regional marketing to drive initiates and ensure optimum support from the region
Very strong analytical skills as well as strong financial business understanding to deal with managing top line as well as division margin on brands through appropriate pricing strategy
Ensure all business activities comply with relevant legal, regulatory & business guidelines
